Product Review of GhillieSuits.com By Shawn Imbach Alpha 10 Team ALPHAWOLF I have been playing paintball for over 12 years and in that time many things have changed in our sport. We have seen the markers go from ten shot pump pistols to full auto markers. This has led to the separation in playing styles at the fields, Speedball or Woods. We now have speedball which basically means the ones with the most paint and fastest guns wins. In one game a player may use up to a 1000-1500 rounds and only get two or three eliminations on the other team. Then there are the recreational or scenario player that enjoy the fun of using tactics and skill to out think the other teams. In this type of game it is possible to use 10 rounds and get ten eliminations which are a better averages and cheaper too. But to do this you there are a few things you can use to your advantage. The most important thing is stealth and cover and this is where a ghillie suit comes in. Over the years I have used many types of ghillie suits some I have bought and others that I have made. Up until now I have never seen a suit that is more effective in both cost and quality than Ghilliesuits.com offers to you. To find one that is of the same quality as GhillieSuits.com would cost you at least three to four times a much for a used suit. A brand new top of the line suit is worth every dollar and you defiantly get your moneys worth. I can talk from experience because I have used their suits in a variety of different terrains and climates. I just finished a game where I used the Woodland Ghillie Poncho in Prescott Arizona during the month of June. The Ghillie Poncho is a full length both front and back and even though it looks big and hot once you put in on its great. Even when the temperature was in the 105 degree range I never really felt the sun or the heat. The great thing about these suits is how it allows the air to flow right through. The best thing about these suits was how easy it was to sneak up and or hide from the opposing team. I was able to just lay flat on the ground or stand next to a tree and have the other players walk right by me because they blended in so well with the terrain. I wish I had a camera or tape recorder with me when I eliminated all the players that had the misfortune to cross my path. We had the other team so scared that most of them would not go into the trees even during the day and especially at night. All day they would keep saying "those damn walking trees" every time they walked off the field. At night it was pretty funny because the other team would not come out of their bunker or hiding spots and if by chance they did, they shot at every tree or brush in sight to make sure it wasn't us. So if you want a fun and exciting new way of playing, I highly recommend that you try using a ghillie suit. Because the rush you get when the other teams is standing right on top of you and then you start eliminating them the looks on their faces is priceless because they can't find you.
